Bear with me please. I can only get a bit done at a time with the forum cleanup.

Today I have done a bit more rearranging - here is a summary so far...

• I have separated general chat and discussions into GENERAL ADMISSION
• and the help type topics under CUSTOMER SERVICE

There is also a NOW SHOWING thread which will replace the many separate threads for announcing your machinima, photos, stories projects into one forum thread. I want to reduce the number of redundant threads to allow for more useful ones.

More to come! Hang in there, I know it can be confusing.

One of the things that nags at me the most is that I want to come up with better ways to share your creativity with the greater Sims community.

I am finally getting into the habit of using Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook and The Sims3 forums on a regular basis. The easiest way to share directly from a forum thread or item here is via twitter, which I will do more often. This should help get the word out when you are showcasing something or have added anything new to your collection of work.

To help me keep track and to better be able to showcase your work I have created a new forum thread titled...

Member Studios

Start a personal thread here with your name or your studio name

for example - Gus Rockman's studio is Brainstrip

Use this thread and keep revisiting it when you have updates or anything to share that adds to your body of work.

Why do this?

When you start a new thread each time, people visiting your thread only see that current work. If you do it this way then people who are just discovering you will be able to go back and see ALL of your work and updates.

Reason TWO

I will be able to tweet your updates and share them on our other pages to get you more exposure.

I have begun to move some threads into this section if I found that they fit this format already.Feel free to ask any questions. I'll put a section in that thread for this.

We need your help to promote SIFF to make it BIGGER than ever!

This SIFF season we are getting an early start on the SIFF Band Search to give everyone who wants to participate ample time to get their band or solo performer together and ready for the festivities including a number of mini challenge that are going to take place this season. We are always trying to make SIFF bigger and better and the band challenge is one of our ways of doing that. It gives people a chance to partipate in SIFF who may not do machinima and is a ton of fun!

Hey everyone!

I am just giving a bit of a warning that I'm working on the forums today to do a bit of cleanup and reorganizing. Forgive me if I create confusion. I will  let you know when the dust settles.

Hey Hey! SIFF is in the air, can you smell it?

Behind the scenes I have been working on, or reworking, my SIFF promo to get off to an early start. My plan is to run a small competition with a Sims3 store prize, for a SIFF promo video so if you have ideas start thinking them up. I will give details by the end of this week/next weekend if all goes as planned.

I have this coming week off so my plan is to focus on cleanup here in preparation for a little bit of fun before SIFF begins again and before Island Paradise comes out.

Tabby Lloyd had the opportunity to interview Sims 3 developer Ryan Vaughan.

Ok, so it's a bit silly, but it is fun and we get a little peek at what is coming up with Island Paradise and a stuff pack that we are really looking forward to.

It is time again to do a bit of Spring cleaning to freshen things up a bit around here.

Expect a few minor changes, mostly to the forums so the site will still look familiar. I'll come back here to point out anything that we are changing.
