Change is Good

Hello Simmers!  As you have begun to notice there are some changes happening around here. We are doing this now, before we really get underway with more fun projects and SIFF 10th anniversary updates. We really felt that a fresh new look is going to be needed as part of this big celebration. There has been much debate over some things, but the reality is that we will never be able to please everyone. Myself, I have been a fan of the black and dark backgrounds, but there are many who have really been wanting to see a lighter, fresher look so it is time for the other side to have some time in the spotlight. Once we get it all settled, I know it will look great!  Bear with us, but also feel free to give some feedback.  Drop by HERE to add your thoughts.

The forums are a place where we all gather to chat and share ideas, but we know it is frustrating when things don't seem to be easy to find. It is difficult to create a forum with all of the information topics that we want, while still keeping it simple enough to navigate. Behind the scenes we have been discussing and arguing um.. debating :) until we have what we hope will be easier for everyone. There will be a time of adjustment of course so be patient and eventually, once you get used to the changes we think you will like them.

The most noticeable change will be the addition of both Sims 2 and Sims 4 sections. We have always opened our SIFF doors to Sims 2 machinima makers, but more and more we are getting requests for information and help with Sims 2 machinima and we are seeing many Sims 2/3 MEP projects. With Sims 4 coming soon we can't really shut our doors to the new players, and to those of us who will try it out or even move completely to Sims 4 so how can we open are arms to them without including our Sims 2 players too. This is a big move for us so please welcome our new members and guests as they arrive. Many are already here.

You will notice new pages linked through the top title bar or navigation bar. Take some time to check this out. We will continue to point out changes as we make them, but our main goal is to have anything permanent that you will want to reference at any time to be there on the nav bar so that you don't have to go searching through the forums to find. We have many more things still to be added so once it is all complete we will give you a tour.

Enjoy the ride!
