The SIFF Buzz season just started, and that means a new round of awesome challenges!

It's time to start promoting your SIFF films and one great way to do that is to participate in the Film Poster Challenge to start creating buzz and anticipation for your film.

The rules are simple:

1.  Create a film poster!
2. Add your poster to the poster album in the photo gallery HERE.
3. Right click on your poster once you have it in the gallery and click "Save image location"  and repost it here in this forum using the picture location url you just got from the last step.

Tips for film posters:

• Create a poster that looks like a real life film poster, use google for ideas
• Be sure to use a size that is roughly 8.5" x 11" or A4 international paper size. Odd sizes are harder to work with if your poster shows up in the Simatography magazine or is chosen to be created into a CC wall hanging for your game.

Tips for Promotion:

• Post your poster on our Facebook page, on your own facebook page/blog/other social sites, on TS3 forums... anywhere that you think will get you some publicity and build a base of fans that want to see your film.
• Post it in our TS3 fourms page.

All film posters created will be listed for voting by our fans too!

Deadline is SEPTEMBER 1, 2013

We will open voting as soon as possible after the deadline. The polls will close on film release day, Sept. 15th and will be announced in the SIFF Buzz closing magazine after all films and voting have been completed.

I actually wanted to do this last SIFF but with the filming problems that I was having it wasn't going to happen. The Calendar of Tales was put together by Neil Gaiman and sponsored by BlackBerry. Gaiman released 12 stories, one for each month, and asked his fans to contribute art and video to the project. It was happening at the same time as SIFF and I was hoping to be able to have this done in order to submit to Gaimans project as well as SIFF. That didn't happen. 

Anyway, this fall I bring you that spring project I wanted to do - October Tale from Neil Gaiman's Calendar of Tales.

OMGoodness! These are looking so great so far. I hope to have mine done before the weekend, so then I will officially announce my film. I'm still trying to come up with a good title.
